The Art House has been a dream of mine since we started this journey in 2022. Opening in September 2025, we now have the best of both worlds - a huge backyard to play creatively and make joyful messes. And a cozy house-turned-art-studio to work on art projects and play indoors with less messy things :)

Located in Northwest Austin our studio is the first and only place in our area where families with young kids can create and play with purpose.

We celebrate diversity and welcome children of all abilities.

Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’ve been an early childhood educator for 15 years. I left my public school teaching days behind once my oldest kiddo was born, but I just can’t quit teaching! It’s truly my passion in life.

And my other passion is making things! Not always art - good food, home projects, gifts, (2 adorable children). I think all humans are meant to create something. I hope Saplings Studio can be a place where kids ignite their own passion for making things!
